Help us celebrate our 9 year anniversary by spreading the word on your favorite merino brand.
I get a little wordy below, so I’ll give you the short summary right here: we’re making our biggest effort ever to A) introduce Wool&Prince to new customers and B) give existing customers a reason to try some new Wool&Prince styles (we have a lot of great new additions!).
We hope that you take advantage of our event and share it with your friends and family. (ie My favorite clothing brand is essentially doing their first ever sale this week and I think you’d really like their merino wool clothing.) Small businesses like ours rely on word of mouth marketing. More new customers means we can invest more in product development and create more great items for everyone.
We’re doing this event to celebrate 9 years and to build momentum in our pursuit to be the best men's merino brand. We plan to continue to broaden our assortment and invest in inventory. To do that, we need more scale. We have everything lined up to support growth: a fully traceable supply chain, trusted manufacturing partners, our own warehouse, and most importantly, a world-class team.
We can confidently say that Wool&Prince makes the best merino clothing on the market. We’re fabric geeks and we love to experiment with new fabrications and different merino blends. Plus, we’re totally committed—we don’t mess with anything that isn’t merino.
If you’re new to Wool&Prince, 20% off may not seem like a big discount. However, we price our products without the markup that you see at most other clothing companies, many of whom run perpetual sales to create the illusion of a deal. Aside from a gift with purchase during Black Friday, Cyber Monday and our small retiring section, we’ve done two large-scale promotions in the last five years:
• In March 2020, we offered 10% off during the start of the pandemic.
• Later in 2020, we offered 15 to 35% off woven shirts to clear inventory as people dressed more casually.
In short, we don’t really do sales, so this is a big deal.
Thanks for spreading the word!
Mac and the Wool&Prince team
PS: As a heads-up, we’ll be sending out a few more emails in the next week. Apologies in advance for invading your inbox, but we’ll try to make the emails fun with some Wool&Prince history. Here’s the time that the Japanese TV station, FUJI TV, really wanted to confirm that the original 100 day shirt didn’t smell (you can also see the outline of the Statue of Liberty in the background right below the mic):
