I made a mistake ordering from the US but I wanted the leggings and the EU store don’t sell them. I ended up having to pay a hefty £75 customs fee. Apparently this is mentioned on the site but not at the point you will see it when you pay!
I contacted customer service via email. Both the dress and the leggings were on the large side. I could return the dress to the EU branch but not the leggings. My emails were responded to quickly and politely and in the end I was given a discount code to the cover the value of the dress. I bought an xs from the eh store as they did not have the small in stock and the fit is perfect. Could have even been a bit smaller. And I measured myself properly.
So...I still have a large dress (which my daughter will gift to a friend) and a pair of baggy leggings which I hope I do not grow into and I’m still down by £75 but at the end of the day that is my fault for not being relevant re custom charges. Lesson learned.
I haven’t worn the dress yet (other than to try it in) as I have been away. I’m surprised by the feel of the fabric. It does not feel wool-like at all. I was a little surprised (and a tad disappointed) to see 20% of the fabric is nylon.
But, as my daughter says, it had to be to give it the slight stretch. I’m also wondering if that nylon will cause the dress to cling to me as I am quite a static person.
I can’t review the worn dress (I’m definately going to do the 100 day challenge) or the washed dress but I was impressed with the customer service (speed of reply and resolution). The dress looks good.
